I read an article in the internet showing the graph of break-ups and changes in statuses in Facebook. Though this survey was conducted 3 years ago with 10,000 users—it shows that 49% new relationship ended before Valentine’s Day and 10% more before Christmas Season.

Last Friday night, I decided to try and update my relationship status from being single to being “in a relationship” and soon after, it became one the most liked status in my timeline. Today I’m clearing things out—that I am not ready yet. My only intention was to know how my close friends and acquaintances will respond. Many were encouraged, few asked me about who she was, and maybe some unfriend-ed me for doing so.
